Abstract

Following a thorough review of studies and proposals regarding the notion of organizational change management , we focus on the importance of dealing with the resistance posed by individuals facing change in an adequate manner. Therefore, we consider useful the design of a diagnostics tool that identifies and measures the different types of resistance offered by individuals facing change as a result of the implementation of large­scale projects (planned change processes). This proposal also inserts the processes involved with change management into the field of project management. Our goal is that its application gives projects a better chance of success. We offeres the instruments and strategies needed for the recollection, processing, analysis and presentation of the information, and one of its strengths may very well be the fact that it blends proposals of different authors into one particular field of study.
