This study explores the moderating role of knowledge management on the relationship between intellectual capital and export performance. While previous research has separately addressed the importance of intangibles and knowledge management in organizational performance—eventually linked to export performance—this study provides an analysis of the interaction between the components of intellectual capital (human, relational, and structural) and knowledge management in fostering global success within emerging economies. Based on surveys conducted with Peruvian textile exporters, the proposed model was tested using structural equation modeling (partial least squares). The findings reveal that human and structural capital have the greatest impact on export performance, and knowledge management positively moderates the relationship between human capital and export performance.
